American Top Team, one of the most reknowned MMA academies in the country, is pleased to celebrate the grand opening of its first location in the Kansas City metro: American Top Team HD, located conveniently in Lenexa at 11227 Strang Line Rd. The gym’s owners include local MMA fighters LC Davis (Bellator MMA) and Jason High (DREAM, Strikeforce and UFC veteran).

This Saturday, July 19th, American Top Team HD will host a grand opening Brazilian Jiu Jitsu seminar with black belt Master Ricardo Liborio, head instructor and co-founder of the American Top Team headquarters academy. In addition to the seminar, there will be a meet and greet with the American Top Team HD instructors and Master Liborio, gym tours and a raffle for prizes, including free personal training sessions, equipment and more!

American Top Team HD is focused on making the fun and fitness of mixed martial arts accessible to the entire family.

“We offer a different type of class from other cookie-cutter gyms,” said Davis, “People of all genders, shapes, sizes and experience can expect to get a good workout here as well as learn new skills.”

In addition to being a great place to get and stay fit, American Top Team HD fields amateur and pro MMA fighters. The gym is also a certified USA Wrestling Club for kids ages 6 through high school. American Top Team HD wrestlers practice regularly and compete in tournaments throughout the year.

The gym offers over 25 classes per week as well as open gym time and one-on-one personal training sessions with professional fighters of all disciplines. The new facility has 2,000 square feet of mat space as well as treadmills and other workout equipment for people of all fitness levels.
